NEW NURSE LED WALK IN CLINICS:
REGISTRATION BEFORE 10am.
These clinics are run by experienced independent prescribers.
Following discussion and help from the Patient Participation group we are implementing walk in clinics, these are for acute minor illnesses and are on a sit and wait basis.
Open Surgery -These clinics are for patients who feel they need to be seen quickly and are too unwell to wait until the next bookable routine appointment. To enable us to provide this service, only one problem can be dealt with and you will be asked to book a routine appointment if you have more than one issue you wish to discuss. All patients are booked in at the reception desk and are seen in order of arrival although patients presenting with a medical emergency may be seen as a priority. Please bear with us as we try to perfect the system.
