Who is who?

The partners Drs Biswas and Bonsor take overall responsibility for the practice both clinically and administratively.

The clinicians who will look after your health are:

  • G.P.s All the G.P.s in the practice have undergone the relevant training and are appraised regularly.
  • Nurse Clinicians (Nurses with advanced clinical skills)
  • Nurse Prescribers / Practitioners (Nurses with speicific skill sets and prescribing capacity)
  • Practice Nurses (Nurses able to deliver traditional nursing services)
  • Health Care Assistants (Function much like practices nurses used to do -- take bloods / breathing tests / health screening / BP)

We have a wide range of motivated clinicians with a wide range of skills:

Having questioned patients, analysed appointments and discussed this amongst the team, we feel that the key to solving this problem is to ensure that patients are directed to the right member of the team.

We have invested heavily in upskilling the entire clinical team, we need to make sure that they are used appropriately.

Some examples....

We have 7 regular General Practitioners

We have 5 Nurse Prescribers who can prescibe the fullrange of medications and can access online clinical support as well as having direct access to the GPs.

We have 4 trained Health care assistants who can do new patient checks, check you bloods, urine blood pressures and even give flu vaccines in some cases.

We have 4 Phlebotomists who can take blood.

We are an equal opportunities employer.

We value our staff

If a member of staff wishes to develop, themselves professionally we will do what we can  to help.

We accept that people will try their best to help, but things can go wrong. We listen to positive and negative comments.

We appraise all staff regularly.

We do not tolerate any verbal of physical aggression towards any staff member.
